“Art of the Encounter” (documentary, 2022, 29mins.): Collecting encounters on an art walk from Kassel to Athens. Thiva, Greece, September 15, 2017.
Etincelle: Lecture-performance with André Vladimir Heiz, library of the former Dornach monastery, august 8, 2021.
ESCALE: Place for the art of the encounter, Nišville Jazz Theatre Festival, August 10, 2022. Saxophone: Marko Mitic.

For Marinka Limat, the inter-personal is the central point. Her practice oscillates between disciplines, but most often refers to performative arts. She walks long distances in the name of art (“Kunst-Pilger-Reisen”), or she brings moments of art into people’s daily life (“ESCALE”). Limat studied at the Universities of the Arts in Berne and Berlin-Weissensee. She is now based in Fribourg, where she was born in 1983.
